Debra and Liz Meet

Debra head Liz singing a Chaka Khan song at a show and liked her voice. Already singing backup for another person, Liz had her own group already and Debra offered herself as a backup singer. Liz accepted

Patricia and Liz Meet

Patricia heard Liz sing a Jill Scott song and appreciated her breath control. Pat's current group, at the time, broke up and she still wanted to sing. Pat sang at a restaurant in the Bronx named Mya’s with a band and Liz was there, impressed by her vocals. Pat used to go to Liz's shows, too, so Pat asked to sing with Debra and Liz. Liz was performing at an event, and Liz called Pat to stage to sing.
